Waste-to-energy incineration and the renewable energy and zero waste alternatives

Friends of the Earth New Zealand has produced this briefing on "Waste-to-energy incineration and the renewable energy and zero waste alternatives" for environmental groups, community groups and interested individuals to help raise awareness of the health and environmental threats posed by waste incineration and to provide detailed information to help build opposition to any future waste incineration proposals.

Friends of the Earth New Zealand was established in January 1975 and was the fourth country affiliated to Friends of the Earth International, an international network of grassroots environmental organisations in 73 countries. Friends of the Earth New Zealand is a founding member of the Environment and Conservation Organisations of New Zealand (ECO).
